Garbage & Recycling
Waste Management picks up garbage every Monday. Recycling is every other Monday.
You will need to connect with Waste Management for a canister (sizes available: 64 or 96 96 gallons).
For other curbside garbage pick-up or a dumpster, call Waste Management at (888) 960-0008.
Waste Management will bill you directly.
Water & Sewer
Bills are sent out on the 1st of the month and DUE by the 15th. Make sure you:
- Bring payment to the City Office, place it in the backdrop box, or pay online at allpaid.com
- Water will be shut off if not paid by the end of that month.
Compost Site
Located south of Crystal Valley. Please do not drive through Crystal Valley—follow the road.
Only STICKS, BRUSH, and TREE LIMBS are allowed. NO LUMBER or GARBAGE.
All leaves and other organic material, including grass clippings, should be placed in the pile east of the center for composting.
City Council
Meets every 2nd Monday of the month in the Community Center at 7:00 PM.

Chapter 90.01-92.20
States that no unlicensed and/or junk vehicles may be parked on your property or on city streets.
All vehicles must be in running order, even if licensed. This includes recreational vehicles, lawnmowers, etc.
Chapter 174.01
States that grass and weeds may not exceed 6 inches. Grass clippings are not to be mowed into the street or gutters.
The Cost for cleanup of grass clippings is $25.00.
Chapter 174.15
States that all dogs/cats must be registered through the City.
Dogs must be on a leash and have a current rabies tag.
The ordinance allows only three dogs and/or three cats per residence.

County Ordinance – Fire Rings
Fire rings may be used within city limits, but only dry twigs and sticks may be burned.
A fire ring can be no larger than 3 feet in diameter, and flames cannot be higher than 3 feet.
No unattended fires. Fires only from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No daytime burning.
Call the Waseca County Sheriff or the local DNR to report anyone not following the regulations, as this is a COUNTY ORDINANCE.
There is NO target practice or any other firing of guns allowed within city limits. This INCLUDES the COMPOST SITE.
